RHA® Dermal Fillers

Dynamic wrinkles and folds appear in areas of the face which move repetitively. RHA® is designed to be resilient enough to adapt to your facial movement. RHA® uses a gentle manufacturing process with few chemical modifications. This helps preserve the natural structure of the HA, allowing it to mimic the natural HA found in your skin.
RHA® 2 and RHA® 3 are indicated for injection into the mid-to-deep dermis for the correction of moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (NLF), in adults aged 22 years or older. How do I know which dermal filler I need?
During your personal consultation, we will discuss your goals and help you devise a treatment plan that may include one filler or a combination of fillers to achieve your desired result. If you are looking for bold lip augmentation, for example, we would recommend Juvéderm or Juvéderm Ultra over Volbella, which is formulated to provide more subtle lip enhancement. If your cheeks are sunken and your nasolabial folds are pronounced, we may recommend a combination treatment of Voluma for the cheeks and Juvéderm.
When will I see results?
Dermal fillers offer immediate benefits, but it may take up to a week before you can see your true results. With any filler, it can take a few days to a week for swelling to fully subside and the filler to settle into your contours.
How long will my dermal filler benefits last?
The duration of your benefits varies with each filler. Juvéderm, Juvéderm Ultra and Volbella last up to a year. Vollure can last up to 18 months, and Voluma for the cheeks is clinically proven to last up to 2 years.
Are dermal fillers painful?
Our collection of dermal fillers is formulated with lidocaine, a gentle numbing agent, to maximize your comfort during the injection process. With any injection, you will experience a slight stinging and pinching sensation, but this discomfort is normal, well-tolerated and dissipates immediately once the injection is done.
Is there any downtime?
There is minimal to no downtime with dermal filler treatments. Many patients are able to resume their regular daily activities, depending on their particular treatment.
What are the side effects of dermal fillers?
With any injection, there is risk of bruising, swelling and pinpoint bleeding. We will apply ice following your treatment to curb swelling and bruising. We also recommend taking arnica montana, an anti-bruising supplement, the week before and after your injectables session.
